Škoda Auto and JSW Green Mobility signed a non-binding MoU on September 9 to explore a strategic automotive partnership in India covering Škoda Auto Volkswagen India's operations. Talks consider a potential joint venture, reportedly 51:49 in JSW's favour, though no ownership confirmed. JSW would help fund investments including the India Main Platform, an India-specific EV architecture adapted from VW's China Main Platform, targeting locally produced Škoda EVs from 2028.
