At Kia EV Day 2025 in Spain, Kia unveiled the PV5, a mid-sized purpose-built vehicle (PBV), and announced a partnership with Samsung Electronics to integrate SmartThings Pro IoT solutions into future PBVs. Kia also introduced its first electric sedan, EV4, and the EV2 concept SUV. Kia aims to lead in PBVs and electric vehicles, targeting 250,000 electric LCV sales annually by 2030.
