Kerala enters with the first grid scale BESS is being established at the 220KV sus-station at Mylatti in Kasaragod. The 125MW/500MWh BESS facility implemented by KSEB in Partnership with SECI. The Union ministry approved Rs 135 Crore under the VGF scheme for the project which is executed by M/S JSW Neo Energy Ltd.
