Chinese Electric Vehicle manufacturer Chery has partnered with Kenyan company Afrigreen Automobile to invest $20 million in the country’s Electric Vehicle (EV) sector. The company anticipates producing approximately 5,000 to 6,000 vehicles annually over the next few years. The production will focus on the Kenyan market and the broader COMESA region.
