The Karnataka government plans to deploy EV charging stations at intervals of 60–70 km along state highways, aiming to create a continuous intercity charging corridor and reduce range anxiety. The initiative complements the state’s broader plan to install 1,250 public charging stations under the PM E-Drive scheme, backed by an estimated ₹777 crore investment.
