The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission has set a ceiling tariff of ₹3.24 per unit for wind power projects for FY2027–FY2029. This reduced tariff reflects declining wind energy costs and improved efficiency trends. It will act as the upper limit for power procurement by distribution companies through competitive bidding.
