JSW Energy said subsidiary JSW Thermal ordered two 800 MW Steem Turbine-generators for Phase II (1,600 MW) of 3,200 MW Salboni project in West Bengal from Toshiba JSW Power Systems. Order completes procurement for four 800 MW units after Phase I in January 2026. Equipment will follow construction schedule for timely commissioning, improving supply-chain certainty amid industry shortages.
