Jolywood has started mass production of low-silver TOPCon solar cells using its Namic architecture at its Taiyuan factory in Shanxi. The cells achieve conversion efficiencies above 27% while replacing part of costly silver paste with aluminum paste. The company plans to retrofit an initial 8 GW of capacity, requiring only additional laser equipment.
