Jakson Group will invest Rs 6,863 crore to set up an integrated solar manufacturing plant in Meedivemula village, Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh. The State Investment Promotion Board led by CM N Chandrababu Naidu has recommended 290 acres for Jakson Integrated Solar. The plant will produce 10 GW silicon ingots and wafers and 5 GW solar cells in three phases, employing about 2,000 people.
