The proposed 450 MW Sceirde Rocks Wind Farm off Ireland's west coast has submitted a planning application to An Bord Pleanála. Aiming to power 350,000 homes and save 550,000 tons of CO2 annually, the project will feature 30 turbines and contribute €70 million to local community initiatives over 20 years.
