IREDA’s loan sanctions rose 29% to Rs 11,740 crore in Q1 FY25

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (Ireda) reported a 29% growth in loan sanctions, reaching Rs 11,740 crore in Q1 FY25, up from Rs 9,136 crore last year. Loan disbursements rose 31% to Rs 6,981 crore. The outstanding loan book grew 27% to Rs 79,960 crore as of June 30, 2025. CMD Pradip Kumar Das highlighted this strong start as evidence of Ireda’s vital role in supporting India’s renewable energy growth with effective financing solutions.
