Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) raised Rs 910.37 crore through privately placed subordinated Tier-II bonds with a 7.74% coupon rate and a 10-year tenor. The funds will enhance IREDA’s Tier-II capital, improving its net worth and Capital to Risk-Weighted Assets Ratio (CRAR). This move supports IREDA’s mission of financing clean energy projects, helping India reach its 500 GW non-fossil fuel-based energy target by 2030.
