Mostafa Rabiei announced Iran’s potential for 40,000 megawatts of wind energy, identified through data collected from 2007 to 2011 with 120 Wind Towers. Currently, Renewables contribute 7% of Iran's electricity, with wind farms at 40%. The government aims to boost Renewable Capacity to 10,000 MW by August 2025, a significant increase from 800 MW in 2021.
