Intertek Group plc has acquired a state-of-the-art solar PV laboratory in Ahmedabad from Mitsui Chemicals India. The ISO 17025-accredited facility will offer BIS and IECEE CB Scheme testing services for solar components, supporting manufacturers and global entrants. The move aligns with India’s 500 GW non-fossil target by 2030, enhancing quality assurance, improving efficiency, and enabling faster market access while strengthening Intertek’s renewable energy capabilities and presence in western India.
