Inox Wind will invest ₹400 crore to establish a new wind turbine manufacturing facility at Kyadigoppa Industrial Area in Koppal, Karnataka. Developed in two phases, the project will create around 1,000 direct jobs. ₹300 crore will be invested initially, followed by ₹100 crore in phase two. The plant, relocated from Vijayapura due to logistical advantages, will produce towers, blades, and pillars, reinforcing Karnataka’s leadership in wind energy with over 7,350 MW capacity and 17 GW planned by 2030.
