Infinity Power has officially begun construction of the 200MW Ras Ghareb wind project in Egypt’s Gulf of Suez, in partnership with Masdar and EPC contractor Powerchina Huadong Engineering. Part of the EBRD-led Nexus Water-Food-Energy initiative, the project supports Infinity Power’s 10GW Africa renewable energy target by 2030.
