India’s Solar Manufacturing Struggles with DCR Challenges

India's Renewable Energy success, especially in Solar, has been significant, with Solar Capacity growing from 3 GW in 2014 to over 107 GW. However, the push for domestic manufacturing, particularly in Solar Cells, has caused challenges, including a supply shortage and delays in deliveries. Despite government support, such as tariffs and incentives, the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) for modules with domestic cells is hindering growth.
