India’s Solar Power cost has dropped to ₹2.15 per unit, and ₹2.70 per unit with Battery Storage, says Union Minister Pralhad Joshi. Solar capacity surged from 2.8 GW in 2014 to 125 GW by 2025, making India a global leader in solar energy. Gujarat sources 60% of its power from renewables, with Mehsana and Modhera noted for clean energy.
