India targets 5 MMT annual green hydrogen production capacity by 2030 under National Green Hydrogen Mission to boost energy security and self-reliance. The mission aims to attract over Rs.8 lakh crore investments, create more than six lakh jobs, reduce fossil fuel imports by Rs.1 lakh crore and avert nearly 50 MMT CO2 emissions annually.
