India’s Renewable Energy Sector saw significant growth in October 2024 with 16 new tenders totaling 11,098 MW, including major projects from NHPC, NTPC, and SECI. The country’s total RE capacity reached 201.46 GW, following additions of 17,444 MW of Solar and 2,626 MW of Wind. Investment trends remained strong, with $103 million in new financing and active policy support driving expansion.
