India is approaching 200 GW of non-fossil fuel Power, with Solar Energy leading the way toward a 500 GW target by 2030. The current non-fossil capacity is 199.58 GW, including 89 GW from Solar and 47 GW from Wind. In early 2024, India added a record 16.4 GW of Renewable Energy. Achieving future targets will require significant investments and infrastructure improvements to meet growing demand.
