India aims to capture 10% of the global green hydrogen market by 2030. Minister Shripad Naik announced 3,000 MW of electrolyser capacity awarded to 15 firms, while 15 states have notified green hydrogen policies. With over 237 GW of renewable energy, India surpassed key targets early. Green hydrogen is now price-competitive with blue hydrogen, and India-EU collaboration is expanding through a new hydrogen task force to strengthen strategic implementation and drive global leadership in exports.
