India adds 6.7 GW Solar Manufacturing Capacity

India has increased its Solar Module manufacturing capacity by 6.7 GW, advancing its clean energy transition, according to Union Minister Pralhad Joshi. Renewable Energy capacity has surged 165% over the last decade, with solar tariffs falling 76%. Recent initiatives include a ₹7,453 crore Offshore Wind funding scheme and a focus on Green Hydrogen Production.
