India's renewable energy sector achieved a milestone with the addition of 25 GW capacity in FY 2024–25, marking a 35% increase from the previous year. Among these advancements, green hydrogen emerged as a key focus area. Under the National Green Hydrogen Mission, ₹22.2 billion was allocated for electrolyser manufacturing, enabling an annual capacity of 1,500 MW.
