Hindalco Industries reduced its net debt by ₹11,800 crore in FY25 and plans $8 billion in capital expenditure over five years to expand aluminium, copper, and battery materials businesses. Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla said the net debt-to-EBITDA ratio improved to 1.2x. The company will double aluminium capacity, add 500 ktpa copper smelting, and scale battery materials.
