Hero Future Energies Challenges KERC Over Solar Project Delay

Hero Future Energies appealed KERC’s denial of a 180-day extension for commissioning its Solar Project, arguing delays stemmed from regulatory and procedural issues beyond their control. Though KERC approved the PPA after a 22-day delay, it didn’t adjust the timeline. Despite completing the project in August 2015 and receiving a partial extension from HESCOM, KERC rejected the full extension and tariff terms.
