Gujarat’s Viksit Gujarat Data Center Policy 2026-29 mandates eligible AI data centers source at least 51% of electricity from renewable and green energy. The policy targets 7.5 GW of hyperscale Green AI capacity by 2029, centered on Dholera. Gujarat’s nearly 74 GW power capacity, strong renewable ecosystem, fibre connectivity, and GIFT City infrastructure support the initiative.
