Gujarat leads India in Wind Power with 12,132 MW, representing 25.8% of the nation's Wind Energy. By July 31, the state had Wind Projects totaling 47,075.43 MW capacity. Gujarat aims to generate 100 GW from all energy sources and has received four awards for Wind Energy in the past three years. Its Wind Energy policy, introduced in 1993-94, has been updated five times.
