For Indian renewable energy firms, a dearth of skilled labor is proving to be a serious obstacle as they struggle to find new personnel. Companies claim they are compelled to hire ex-pats, send executives abroad for training, or snatch workers from rival companies. To reach its goals for power and green hydrogen during the next seven years, India would need to install 60 GW RE capacity annually.
