A ₹14,147 crore transmission scheme for evacuating solar power from Rajasthan and Gujarat’s key renewable zones was reviewed under the Project Monitoring Group (PMG). The project will develop substations and high-capacity lines to integrate solar energy from Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Barmer, Surendranagar, Patan, and Kutch into the national grid.
