A recent international study by researchers from Japan, India, and Brazil has uncovered new gene clusters in marine microbes that could revolutionize hydrogen production. The team, including scientists from Hokkaido University in Japan, the National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology in India, and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, focused on Vibrionaceae, a family of marine bacteria.
