Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) has commissioned an additional 150 MW at its Khavda Solar Power Project in the Great Rann of Kutch, marking the fourth phase. This raises the total commissioned capacity to 465 MW of the planned 600 MW. Part of the 2,375 MW Khavda Renewable Energy Park, the expansion underscores GIPCL’s commitment to renewable energy, enhancing India’s green energy goals while leveraging the region’s high solar irradiance for efficient power generation.
