Germany and Canada have jointly launched a €400 million ($440 million) green hydrogen tender under the H2Global initiative, each contributing €200 million. The bilateral tender aims to bridge the cost gap between green hydrogen production in Canada and its affordability in Germany. It will procure RFNBOs, including green hydrogen and derivatives, for German consumption.
