GE Vernova, Drydocks awarded 2 GW grid connection for Offshore Wind Project

50 Hertz has awarded GE Vernova and Drydocks World the Engineering, procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) contract to deliver 2 GW Ostwind 4 grid connection in the German Baltic Sea. GE Vernova and Drydocks will build the direct current (DC) converter system which will comprise a converter at sea and a converter on land for Ostwind 4 grid connection.
