GAIL (India) Limited has signed agreements with TUSCO Limited for a 600 MW solar project in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, including a 550 MWh battery energy storage system. The project will meet captive power needs of GAIL’s Pata petrochemical plant and support electrification and CBG initiatives. This move strengthens GAIL’s renewable energy portfolio and commitment to sustainable, low-carbon energy solutions.
