GAIL (India) Limited plans to invest ₹3,294 crore in a 600 MW greenfield solar project in Uttar Pradesh, integrating a 550 MWh battery energy storage system to enhance grid reliability and efficiency. The project, to be completed within 15 months of EPC award, will be funded through debt and equity.
