Foxconn Interconnect Technology (FIT) will start building its first Middle East manufacturing base in Saudi Arabia this December to produce electric vehicle chargers. The factory is expected to begin production in 2026, announced FIT chairman Sidney Lu. The joint venture, Smart Mobility, was launched with Saleh Suleiman Alrajhi and Sons.
