Flexbase is set to construct a 500 MW redox flow Battery Energy Storage facility in Laufenburg, Switzerland. This project, the largest of its kind globally, will not utilize critical materials like lithium or cobalt and is safer than Lithium-ion Batteries, as it cannot catch fire or degrade. Construction is expected to commence in early 2025.
