Danish developer European Energy has commissioned its first Australian Solar PV plant, a 58MW project in Victoria’s Hume region. Covering 94 hectares, the Mokoan plant will generate 113GWh annually and is set to be fully operational by June 2025. European Energy also plans a 1.3GWp solar farm in Queensland, with Rio Tinto signing a 25-year PPA for the project’s electricity output.
