The European Commission has approved a €400 million Austrian state aid scheme and a €36 million Lithuanian state aid scheme to support renewable hydrogen production. These initiatives are part of the European Hydrogen Bank's "Auctions-as-a-Service" tool, aimed at accelerating the decarbonization of EU industries and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
