Engie Chile Starts Operations of 344 MW Wind Project

Engie Chile has launched commercial operations of its 344 MW Kallpa Wind Project in Taltal, northern Chile. The project, featuring 57 Wind Turbines, generates approximately 923 GWh/year, preventing 364 ktCO2 emissions annually. With a $459 million investment, it gained approval from the National Electricity Coordinator in March 2025.
