Energy In Motion Ltd has inaugurated a ₹500 crore electric heavy-duty commercial vehicle complex at Talegaon, Pune, part of a planned ₹1,000 crore investment in Maharashtra. Inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the facility integrates heavy vehicle assembly, lithium-ion battery pack manufacturing and an independent battery testing lab, with initial capacity of 5,000 vehicles per shift annually and over 2,000 jobs expected.
