(USA) has secured U.S. Patent No. 12,522,100 B1 for a multi-port EV charging architecture that aggregates multiple independent power inputs through a single interface, aiming to significantly reduce charging times compared with traditional single-port systems. The technology targets ultra-fast charging of EV batteries in ~7 minutes, versus roughly ~1 hour for current high-power DC charging, while maintaining compatibility with existing vehicle standards.
