The European Investment Bank (EIB) has granted a €430 million loan to Galp for the development of renewable hydrogen and biofuels projects at the Sines Refinery in Portugal. These projects, which are already under construction, represent a total investment of €650 million. The biofuels unit, financed with €250 million, will produce low-carbon fuels essential for the decarbonization of transport.
