The European Investment Bank has signed a €70 million financing agreement for the 137 MW Sand Solar project in Sicily, Italy, with a total project cost of €105 million. Promoted by Peridot Solar (Holdco) Ltd, the project will support Italy’s renewable energy targets and the EU’s 2030 climate goals.
