EDF Renewables North America has secured a 20-year PPA with Arizona Public Service (APS) for a 250 MW Beehive Battery Energy Storage System in Peoria, Arizona. Set to begin construction in 2025 and operational by 2026, the facility will Store Energy during high Renewable Generation and release it during peak demand, enhancing grid reliability and supporting APS’s clean energy goals.
