Spain-based Ecoener has secured two 15-year power purchase agreements in Guatemala for its 140 MW Cocales and 60 MW La Hulera solar projects. Both plants will feature battery storage systems, with Cocales adding 20 MW/80 MWh and La Hulera 10 MW/40 MWh. Operations are expected to start in 2028, bringing Ecoener’s total Guatemalan capacity to 362 MW.
