The European Commission has approved EEW Holding and Sumitomo Corporation's acquisition of joint control over EEW Offshore Wind EU. The deal focuses on manufacturing large steel tubes for offshore wind farms. EEW Holding will hold a 55% ownership, while Sumitomo will have a 45% interest.
