Dalkia UK has secured an engineering contract for the Barrow Green Hydrogen project in Cumbria, one of the UK’s first renewable hydrogen facilities to reach Final Investment Decision (FID). The 30 MW plant is being developed by GHECO, a joint venture between Schroders Greencoat and Carlton Power, under the UK Government’s Hydrogen Allocation Round 1 support.
