Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC) plans to invest $500 million by 2026 to enhance Solar Power Generation and upgrade its Transmission link between Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This includes increasing the Transmission Line capacity from 250MW to 550MW. CEC aims to attract third-party financing for these projects, which follow Zambia's recovery from a sovereign debt default.
